"My pony became cuddly whilst having his Bowen treatment, which was very out of character. He loved his treatment sessions after he got over his initial suspicion of what was being done to him he actually realised he really liked it (he has a vet phobia). He definately recognized Teresa when she came back for the next session with a nuzzle over the stable door, again out of character. On his first hack after his initial treatment, he already felt like his walk was easier and freer and this has continued. Being a rugby coach has the disadvantage of me being battered by 14 year old strapping lads on a weekly basis. The result was a arthritis type pain in my shoulder and upper arm joints which I was having no joy in curing.
Teresa suggested her practice and although sceptical thought I had nothing to lose. Even after the first treatment I felt better but was still not convinced as I thought I might be kidding myself into feeling better. However after the second treatment I had no doubt that she was healing my ailments and was then actively looking to get further treatments from her.

"Well, it was just one of those things that you ‘just put up with’ because it wasn’t serious enough to bother the doctor with. Having said that, my stiff neck prevented me from turning my head sufficiently to be able to confirm that there were no cars in the outside lane while overtaking on a dual carriage way. So pretty serious really.
Having never heard of the Bowen Technique before, I was somewhat sceptical, and assumed it was some sort of placebo “smoke & mirrors” type of treatment. However, my recent experience has turned me around.
During my treatment there was no pain at all, only a slight tingling sensation in my back, and it may sound unbelievable, but straight afterwards I could easily twist my neck around sufficiently without causing any pain as before.
I found myself in a situation where I didn’t want to believe that something so quick and simple had relieved my ‘pain in the neck’ that I’d lived with for some time, but the simple truth is that it did, and I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised with the result."
